28

My birthday was on a Wednesday. When the kids and I went downstairs we found a fun surprise. Rog had decorated and blown up balloons before going to school.

Corbyn and Peyton loved the party blowouts and had fun blowing them all morning!

My parents treated me to lunch at Kneaders. It was a beautiful day, so we enjoyed eating outside on their patio and I got my favorite fruit tart (for free).

While Peyton took her nap, Corbyn helped me make Orange Cream Cupcakes. For dinner I made myself sweet and sour meatballs.

My big gift was a Blendtec! I've been wanting one for quite some time, so I decided to use most of my birthday money and finally get one! I also got a round cookie cutter set (need - based on Mel's recommendation), some brown flats (wear - haven't actually got them yet, but I will when I find some I like), and Elizabeth Smart's My Story (read).

On Friday Rog took me to Disney on Ice as a birthday surprise. The kids and Grandma and Grandpa got to join us. We had a coupon for half off tickets - we had great seats at a great price!

It was their Rockin' Ever After show. It included the Little Mermaid...

Tangled...

Brave...

And Beauty and the Beast.

Peyton's favorite part was the horse from Tangled. Whenever he left the ice, she would ask for him over and over again until he came back!

It was a lot of princesses, but Corbyn enjoyed it too. He said his favorite was the beast.

After the show we took Zupas to my Grandma Ford for her birthday.

On Saturday we had dinner at Olive Garden with my parents and the Jar and then played Ticket to Ride after putting the kids to bed.

And finally on Sunday after church we took dinner up to my Grandma Ford and celebrated with a cake from Macey's.

Lots of celebrating! I'm not sure I deserved it all, but it made for great birthday!
