We had PJ's party Saturday night. It worked out well to not have it on her birthday because instead of getting ready for her party all day, we just got to relax and enjoy our little girl on her birthday.
I decided on a cupcake theme with a pink, white, black, and gray color scheme based on this photo shoot in the dress we gave her for Christmas.
The invitation.
The food. Cake Batter Buddies, Punch (with watermelon jello), Cupcakes (white with buttercream frosting), Cupcake Bites, and Fruit with Lime Fruit Dip. I was able to get a custom mix of pink, white, and black sprinkles from our Macey's bakery that was perfect for the cupcakes, cupcake bites, cake batter buddies, and the smash cake.
The decorations. I printed out a picture from each month's photo shoot (in black and white). It was fun to look back and see how she had grown up over the year.
The presents. She was so spoiled with the Little People Princess Songs Palace, Appliances for her play kitchen, the LeapFrog My Discovery House, books, and lots and lots of very cute clothes. I wasn't expecting the clothes because I don't think anyone got Corbyn clothes for his first birthday, but I wasn't too surprised because girls really are so much fun to buy clothes for!
The smash cake.
Before.
During.
And after.
What do you think? Did she like it, or what?!
Thanks to everyone who came to help us celebrate our little PJ!

Such a cute party! We have that princess castle, and it is definitely a well-loved toy.
ReplyDeleteLook how tiny so was . . . and so messy!
ReplyDeleteYou should show PJ the cake photos :)
