*Discovered his feet and his tongue. When his feet aren't in his mouth, he's sticking his tongue out!
*Is sitting up like a champ.
*Pushes his tummy off the ground when he rolls over onto his tummy. It will still be awhile before he starts to crawl, but he's making progress in that direction.
*Is talking a lot. He babbles all the time and sometimes throws a mama or dada in the mix.
*Has been "clawing" at the ground or any surface a lot - like he's trying to pick something up even if there's nothing there.
*Is laughing a lot more these days.
*Is still as smiley as ever.
Easton's 6th month in pictures:
Baby's first Christmas.
He got a new dragon ball popper toy from Grandma Dixie. We had one that was originally Peyton's, but the motor had worn out and it wasn't popping the balls very well anymore. We got out the balls from that old one, so he has double the balls!
When he got to the point where he was rolling over as soon as we laid him down, he had to learn to sleep on his tummy.
We flew to Colorado on New Year's Eve and stayed until the 6th. It was gloriously sunny pretty much the whole time and Easton swung for the first time.
His cousin, Mason, couldn't get enough of him.
Holding a sleeping baby is one of the best things in life.
While we were there we went to Denver Museum of Nature and Science and enjoyed the Pixar exhibit that was visiting. Easton is quite the Pixar expert now.
Just hanging with his brother.
A little quality time with Grandpa Mike.
He figured out how water bottles work and would put one up to his mouth to (try to) drink whenever he got an opportunity.
Brothers. 😍
Getting so good at sitting up.
Bundled up for a (rare) sunny Sunday afternoon walk.
I love when my babies can sit up. It's the start of such a fun interactive age! And they always seem so much happier when they can sit up than when they're stuck on their backs. Easton has been no exception.
Bath time with big brother!
And cuddles with biggest brother. I knew Peyton would love having a baby, but it's surprised me how much Corbyn wants to hold him.
*Is back to waking up about every 3 hours to eat at night.
*Is a rolling machine. He rolls over almost as soon as you lay him down on the floor.
*Loves jumping in his jumperoo.
*Is already wearing size 6-9 month clothes.
Easton's 5th month in pictures:
At his 4 month appointment the day before Thanksgiving getting ready for shots.
Hanging out on the couch while we watched the parade on Thanksgiving Day.
He was pretty fussy on Thanksgiving and wasn't taking good naps. (Probably because of his shots he had the day before.) We put him in his jumperoo as we were all trying to finish up the last minute things for our Thanksgiving dinner and he fell asleep!
I didn't want to dress him in this Thanksgiving outfit (originally Peyton's, but Logan also wore it) early in the day because he is known for his blowouts. Of course he didn't have one that day, so I dressed him in it for a picture before changing him into his pajamas.
Logan took this picture. I love it because of that little baby bum!
Out hunting for our Christmas tree.
He loves his jumperoo so much. We bought it for Corbyn and it has gotten great use by all of our kids.
We did matching Christmas pajamas for the whole family this year and I got him these pajamas in size 3-6 months since that was what he was wearing at the time. The first time I put them on I knew they wouldn't last until Christmas. So I bought him some in size 6-9 months (with a heart instead of a bear) and since they're not overly Christmasy, he'll get more use out of them after Christmas.
He got these cute Oball toys from the Phillips cousin gift exchange. Everyone except our family was together for Thanksgiving, so we did the exchange then instead of waiting for Christmas. Spoiler alert: I fell in love with these and he ended up getting a whole bunch for Christmas. They have them in all kinds of different characters.
A few times when the stars aligned and it was sunny and not raining during Logan's preschool, I took him for stroller runs. (I think it happened twice in December.)
Cutest little Santa baby! Since he was kind of in between sizes, he fit in Christmas clothes I had from Corbyn, Logan, and even some pajamas that were originally Peyton's. He was very festive all month long!
Waiting for the bus in the rain. Life of a little brother in Portland!
Trying to get ready for the day with a cute, fussy baby.
Those arm rolls. 😍
When you get your leg stuck and you have to wait for mom to take a picture before she saves you.
Blowout #2 for the day and I hadn't restocked the diaper bag with a spare onesie.
Easton was my buddy for Peyton's Senior Home Tour performances with her dance team.
It was a long day and he was such a trooper!
Blowing spit bubbles in one of my favorite of his footie pajamas in this size.
He rolled over for the first time two days before Thanksgiving, but it took him a couple weeks to get to the point where he was doing it all the time and it took me awhile to catch it on video.
I didn't think I left him this close to the tree. His roll and scoot game is strong when he wants to get something.
Krislyn gave Easton this cute outfit because someone gave it to her and it was too big for Reggie.
Logan was pretty upset when Easton no longer fit in his fox pajamas, so we found this matching football set.
First visit to Santa.
I bought this outfit for him to wear for Christmas Sunday and got the whole family outfits to match. He barely squeezed into it, but we made it work!
Pajama snuggles. These were Peyton's Christmas pajamas I was talking about earlier.
